2. Scope of Diagnostic Services

NJ Leak Detection provides specialized non-invasive diagnostic locating services for residential and commercial potable water supply lines, swimming pools, underground irrigation networks, and slab-on-grade plumbing structures. Our services are calibrated specifically to identify and isolate points of water leakage using acoustic, thermal, and pressure testing instruments.

3. New Jersey Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

In accordance with New Jersey state law, permanent plumbing repairs, line replacements, and water service line modifications must be completed by a NJ licensed master plumber. Physical excavation of underground water service lines or irrigation lines requires prior notification to NJ One Call at 811 before digging begins. Property owners are responsible for ensuring that any repair contractor they hire holds appropriate municipal and state credentials.

4. Gas Safety Disclaimer

Our diagnostic services and equipment are designed strictly for water leaks. If you smell natural gas or suspect a gas line leak, immediately evacuate the property and call 911 or your local gas utility from a safe location outside. Do not touch any electrical switches or operate phones inside the building.

5. Limitation of Liability

While our non-invasive acoustic and thermal instruments achieve exceptional diagnostic accuracy, environmental variables such as excessive background noise, compound foundation settling, or multiple concurrent leak points may impact acoustic readings. We provide findings to the best of our technical capability based on conditions at the time of inspection.
